End Federal Raids on Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Pres. Barack Obama said during the campaign that he would end federal raids on medical marijuana dispensaries in states where they are legal. Take action today to urge him to live up to his promise.

Please End Medical Marijuana Raids

Dear President Obama,

During the campaign you said that you would direct the Justice Department to end raids on medical marijuana users. I'm sure this is still your plan, and I'm writing to urge you to make it a priority.

Medical marijuana use has been approved in 13 states and I urge you to respect the state laws and administrations and direct Justice to work with officials in each state if there are concerns about administration of the law, rather than raiding dispensaries and arresting patients.

Thank you for taking a stand on this issue during the campaign. I will look forward to the day you end these counterproductive raids.
